Ruby grew up in Cheshire, and she is currently undertaking the fourth year of her integrated Master’s degree with Industrial Experience at the University of Manchester. She recently completed her industrial placement year at Unilever, working as a formulation chemist within the Deodorants Research and Development Technical Centre. Upon returning to Manchester, Ruby joined the Crisenza group, where her work focuses on the development of new synthetic methodologies for the oxidative cleavage of unsaturated C=C bonds.

In her free time, Ruby enjoys cooking, singing and spending time with friends in sunny places.
