Mohammed Alshammari
MSc PGT Student
Mohammed obtained his BSc in Chemistry from King Saud University (KSU), Saudi Arabia. During his undergraduate studies, he actively pursued hands-on research opportunities, including projects focused on the synthesis and applications of Schiff bases. His final-year project involved the synthesis, characterisation, and application of novel Cu(II) complexes as catalysts. Following graduation, Mohammed worked as a Teaching Assistant at KSU, where he gained valuable experience in both teaching and laboratory-based research. He is currently a Master's student in the Crisenza Group at the University of Manchester, where his research focuses on developing new radical cascade reactions for the synthesis of sulfur-containing heterocycles.Outside the laboratory, Mohammed enjoys reading, watching films, and cooking.
