Cheuk was born in Hong Kong, China. He is currently completing his bachelor’s degree at the University of Manchester, in partnership with the Chinese University of Hong Kong. During his studies in Hong Kong, he conducted undergraduate research under the supervision of Prof. Oleksandr Savateev, focusing on photocatalytic graphitic carbon nitride–mediated organic reactions. To further develop his knowledge and techniques, he joined the Crisenza Group for a six-weeks summer placement, focusing on the homologative oxidative cleavage of alkenes.

In his free time, Cheuk enjoys playing video games and exploring nature.
